NEW REPORT - From Seizure to Sentence: An Assessment of Tiger Trafficking Prosecutions in Southeast Asia

GuArdean collaborated with WWF and TRAFFIC on the report From Seizure to Sentence: An Assessment of Tiger Trafficking Prosecutions in Southeast Asia. We examined tiger-related arrests, prosecutions, and sentencing outcomes across seven Southeast Asian tiger range countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam) between 2019 and 2024, assessing how criminal justice systems responded to tiger trafficking and identifying gaps in prosecution, sentencing, transparency, and accountability.
